I wanted to thank you all for a wonderful year and wish you the best in the years to come.  I hope you will practice your Spanish over the summer and take it to the next level.  I wanted to recognize the top Spanish students and clarify the awards ceremony.  Because there was an Overall Academic Scholar Award category for students who excelled in two or more subjects that several of my students qualified for, I did not make an individual recognition of the following students:  VJ Servera, Miles Dayoub, Kelsey Osborne and Devon Norwood.   These four did impeccable work in and out of class and are Spanish Studs, as I like to say.

I found a great weblink that features lots of Dichos.  About.com has excellent Spanish lessons and topics that you can subscribe to over the summer.  I would recommend you keep up with your Spanish by talking to native speakers every opportunity you get and do not worry about making mistakes – I still do!  I also recommend you listen to some Spanish Radio and television.  Commercials are especially helpful.   Enjoy your summer and get the most out of your classes while they are still free!  Saludos!  Sra.
