Wow!  Tomorrow is the final.  It will cover the grammar you learned this past year, with a major focus on the preterite tense.  In order to review, please do APT p. 180 - 181 and / or En Uso p. 460-461.  For additional practice, I recommend reading Activity 19, p. 454, and reviewing Activities 14 & 16, p. 452 - 453.

Tomorrow we will collect all Spanish textbooks so please bring yours to class minus all papers and marks.

We started the last chapter of the book today…wow!  Unit 6, chapter 3 is all review and we watched the movies today that summarized what you are now able to do with the language base on all of your hard work last year and this!  My recommendation for you to prepare for the final is to go over the grammar boxes in this final chapter and make sure you understand the concept.  If you are having trouble, make sure you do some of the activities that relate to that grammar point.

As I wrote on the blog & board yesterday, make sure you have the following assignments for me on Monday:  #20, p. 343 paragraph written in the Preterite tense (100 words, more or less); p. 144 Mas Practica; and if you haven’t already done so, #4, p. 437.  Most of the grammar on the final is preterite tense, but don’t forget how to use the present indicative tense too!

Today in class we finished up the irregular preterite tense verbs found on p. 431.  We rolled the dice to form sentences about what happened at the farm.  If you missed class today, make sure you write out a few problems from exercises 15, & 16, p. 432 in the book.

If you were out on Tuesday and have not already done so, review ordinal numbers & rules on p. 430 & do either activity 12 or 13.  Homework for tonight (morning classes did this Tuesday) is activity 4, p. 437.  By Monday, I want to see a paragraph using a wide variety of verbs in the preterite tense describing what happened a day in the country, based on the guidelines of Activity 20, p. 433.

Please review previous entries for information on Tuesday’s final & links to help you review.
